Part Time Summer Positions

On summer weekends and holidays, we sometimes require additional help at our market.

Tasks related to this include:

• picking vegetables and fruits (usually early in the morning or sporadically throughout the day)
• sorting, grading, and packing fruits and vegetables
• customer service

For part-time positions, the willingness to work on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is absolutely essential. Good physical health and the ability to lift heavy objects are also essential. Most workdays would be 8-10 hours. Experience in retail service would be an asset, as would the knowledge of other languages.

These jobs would span the period from mid-June until mid-September, though working every weekend would not be mandatory. (Though certainly working most weekends would be expected.)
