Magic Peach Cobbler

Peach cobbler just out of the oven- the browning is normal.

Try this one it's quick and tastes great.

Preparation Time:

1-1.5 hours

Number of Servings:

Serves four to six.

Ingredients:

4 cups sliced Quiet Acres peaches (Want to know peach maturity dates?)
1½ cups sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
4 Tbsp butter
¾ cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup milk

Method:

Mix peaches with 1 cup sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter in a 2½ to 3 quart casserole dish in 350 F oven. Mix remaining ½ cup sugar with flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and mix until blended. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon peaches over top of batter and do not stir. Bake for 1 hour.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
