4. Bio has links to related information -- his company's financial statement, recent news (Nexis), corporate structure, litigation (Lexis) etc.

Information is:

• accessible because easy to get to

 
• targeted because it is information pertinent to meeting from which user can choose more information relevant to meeting by choosing links for additional information

Worth noting:
 

• Reed Elsevier makes money because easy to get first piece of information.  Getting first piece results in more information being requested (on average 3x multiplier)

 
• Information cuts right across Reed Elsevier divisions, subsidiaries. Information is organized around meeting, not around way Reed Elsevier subsidiaries store information

 
• Applet uses a virtue of links, the ability of the user to choose path he wants to follow

 
• Reed Elsevier has to have control of links
